Viral load test results

Hi..I am new to this forum.  My dad was diagnosed with Hep B about 6 months back.  He is 63 yrs old.  He threwup blood and was admitted in hospital. By god's grace he recovered but his recovery was very slow and there was cirrosis of liver.  But I dont know how bad it is.  He is on various medications for Hep B treatment.  I would like to know how to interpret his latest viral load results.  HBV Quantitative Real Time - PCR 3000 viral copies/ml plasma.  Thanks for your help.

also remember to monitor both creatinine clearance and creatinine serum, both are need because both very poor sensibility about kidney damage, once it changes the damage is done already and on cirrhosis kidneys are already damaged although there are no tests with good senibility to show function before the damage is done

in 2010 i could not use tenofovir, now a year later, with no fibrosis and with fibroguard heptech it looks like i can tollerate it with no trouble

check also his vitd25oh which will be deficent 100% on cirrhosis and take supplements, 4000iu minimum, to normalize to >50ng/ml.this is also a must because vitamin d has shown to prevent cirrhosis development and when i stopped vit d supplements my fibroscan stopped decreasing between sep 2010 and feb 2011

if he has also fatty liver check my post "update on my fatty liver", vitamins e, d3, fish oil and antioxidants like antocianins in blue berry and black rice in the diet are a must for this
also unsweetend cocoa improves hypertension after meal if he has that

he must start a combo of entecavir and tenofovir as soos as possible to block the damage done by hbv.
he cant use other antivirals or just one antiviral because if resistance to one antiviral develop he dyes and because the virus must be suppressed as soon as possible.with such low viral load 4-8 weeks on this combo should make hbvdna undetactable and ast/alt normal or almost normal

he must be monitored for lactic acidosis and creatinine clearance under these antivirals becaue on end stage cirrhosis there may be these extremely rare sides, so if any dosage of drugs can be lowered

stopping virus will help little with liver function recovery and cirrhosis regression so he must start also hepatitistechnologies protocol and monitor every 4-6 months by fibroscan to see improvment of liver

US every 4-6 months is also necessary for liver cancer prevention.extremely healthy life and diet is necessary.no fats and only fresh food and vegetables

i was advanced cirrhosis 16.3kpa and i regressed all fibrosis to irrelevant in less than 1,5 years by heptech plus antiviral combo etv+alinia and now etv+tdf, so it is also possible to regress cirrhosis if not too advanced
