Hi all,

I have been trying to find an answer online but I didn't get a definitive answer. I am a hepatitis-b carrier I have been taking vitamin b complex and vitamin-C supplements. I was wondering if they are bad for my liver? It won't cause any damage to my liver, will it? This is the one i take:

Protease 10mg
  (as Papain)
Brewer’s Yeast 50mg

Directions:
Take one to six tablets daily, preferably with meals.
Do not exceed stated dose.

Also please share your view on taking the below:

Did you mean only overdose of Vit-D and Selenium can be toxic?

yes, vitd25oh>150ng/ml can increase calcium although it is more common at 250ng/ml up.almost impossible to reach those levels unless 50.000-100.000iu daily

selenium needs no testing if taken 200-400mcg daily

Do you know any stores in UK where I can buy liosomal form of vitamin?
only online

Any view on ginseng?
no idea but best brands are puritans, solgar, longlife

Thanks Stef,

Can you please clarify what you mean by
"only vitamin d needs testing and dose between 5000-10.000iu daily and selenium 200-400mcg, all other vitamins have no toxicities"

if they are synthetic vitamins they are useless, if they are natural extracted from food they are ok

you need them in great amounts because oxidative stress and nutritional status in hbv infection is bad especially b vit c vit, glutathione, selenium.vitamin d is universally severely deficent on hbv carriers making immune system very weak.only vitamin d needs testing and dose between 5000-10.000iu daily and selenium 200-400mcg, all other vitamins have no toxicities

most of these vitamins are not absorbed so must be taken in liposomal forum or IV, of course liposomal is better because nutrients go directly in the cells where they are needed, not just in the blood or worst stomach

we know two brands which are very good livonlabs and MaxHealth Labs
