Which Vitamin d3 should be taken(brand, quantity)

Hi,
I recovered from headache after having d3 in past. Can please guide me which vitamin. D3 i need to take ... There are 1000, 5000, 10000 ( and 10up,25up) etc , so i am very confuse which vit D i should take please.
Any brand ( holland and B?) Recommendation will be good (UK).

you need the dose that makes your vitd25oh 90-100ng/ml (attention not nmol/l another scale which is confusing) and your intact pth low normal range (it will take about 6 months to lower once vitd25oh is stable at 90-100ng/ml).so start with 10.000iu pills daily and after 4 weeks check vitd25oh and if it is 100ng/ml lower dose to 5000-7000iu to keep the values you reached.anyone is different and most cannot reach high normal levels with 10.000iu, those with lowest inflammatory state, good vit d receptors genotyes, slim and so on may easily reach those levels on 10.000iu daily it vaires from person to person
