Unfortunatley, I don't the full result. It was done at my work place but what I was told is that the surface antigen is +ve. First results said 32,000 for viral load. Second result was 230,000 or so but they said LFT shows liver is functioning well. Guess I need to ask more questions on the results.
if it is only 2 weeks you can stop it no problem, but if your hbcab igm is negative hbv is cronic and has control of ur immune system so there is no way it can clear hbv
on the contrary if hbcab igm is positive you ll clear it in a couple of months but i can t believe a docotor is such a butcher to give tenofovir with acute hbv, it is not allowed and you might sue him in this case, post all your tests
Thank you for your advise.
So you mean I should not stop the tenofovoir. I have just used it for 2 weeks u know. I want to take my time and allow my immunity to still fight really.
if it is cronic you have no immune system to fight hbv, it is hbv to control it......
it is correct to stop tenofovir if your fibroscan shows no liver damage (all other tests useless for liver damage), while on tenofovir your liver gets more infected and you have no defence if you stop so it is better to combo with interferon and alinia for a year and see if hbsag declines if not you can stop treatments because interferon and alinia will make some immune response to avoid any danger stopping tenfovir (alinia and interferon canbe safely stopped, tenofovir dont)
