Within 3 years we are cured

Hi Mike, I was reading the news http://www.theintell.com/business/bucks-based-scientists-aim-to-cure-hepatitis-b-over-next/article_14638c33-70d6-5c53-928e-305a6839b110.html
and I remember what  the Dr Ana said to  you , that researchers are out of business if they don't find a cure for hep B , since the Hep c has it.
Great news are coming, within three  years we are cured

I talked with my doctor about this today. He didn't seem optimistic about 3 years, but did say "I sure hope they do though! It would be a blessing for most and then they can find ways based on this to cure other diseases as well"

we can't be cured with promises, there are lots of meds on trials right now, but if they are in trials all the time and nothing comes to the market ...all we have after all are their words

Let the cure drug come to the market, we'll travel either to India or Egypt, so cheap out there.

This is the cost of the actual drugs once released. Clinical trials are usually free and people get paid to be on them. Of course, it's a matter of selection to be put on a trial.

Clinical trials are for free, 250.000 dollar is never going to happen, 400 million people are mostly poor or middle class. Second, this is business for big pharma, and they  would get money from insurances.

Gosh... That's expensive. Do you mean you have to pay out of pocket to be in clinical trials or for the actual drugs once it's out?

Not all insurances cover these type of things. This much has to be understood. A know of a few people that were paying as much as $250,000 US Dollar out of pocket for the Hep C cure because their insurance was not covering the new drugs.

I'm not sure about anyone else, but unless I want to be homeless, I don't have that much money to buy a cure.

I just thought about it. I wonder how many years, once they find a cure, for it to be available to us.  I know clinical trials takes very long. *sigh.... Just very anxious about this ordeal.
