Hi carama hiw are you now?
i really appriciate all responses, it means a lot to me guys!!!!!!!!!!!!! thank you so much!!!!!!!!! God bless you all!!!!!!!
it depends on the policy in the hospital or clinic because when i consulted my doctor (although i am not a nurse or a nursing student) i asked him if it is possible that a nurse could still work in a hospital if ever he/she is positive in hepa b. He said that it is ok. Their hospital policy is just that only the "delivery room, operating room, pedia room, and ... i forgot the other one" must be hepa-free. So maybe those nurses with hepa will be assigned to other areas. So don't lose hope. Pursue your career!
Hepititis B is common. For Asian people, 1 out of 10 are Hepititis B positive. Do not think that it should impact your nursing career. Not sure about your local policy.
