best medicine for Chronic Hepatitis B

like lonely_maria's condition,  i'm from philippines also, and deported from Malaysia because the doctor found out that i have an accute or chronic hepatitis B, i just want to know that is it curable? and what is the best medicine for this?...

If your positive sa HBsAG that means you have hepa B but there is no test to detect if active to or chronic. Monitoring lang yan kapag tumaas ang sgpt mo and viral count tapos eh naging normal for a period of six months to one year eh active ka. Pero kung more than a year na eh tuloy tuloy pa rin ang pagtaas yan ay chronic na at kailangan mo na mag gamot. Ang mga gamot sa hepa b ay interferon or antivirals. Sa mga naghahanap ng diagnostics sa Philippines suggestion ko ay hi-precision pinakamura meron silang hbv dna. Kung fibroscan naman meron sa Cardinal.

yes, stef is correct, you should worry if you are in chronic stage.
with regards on your results, you should follow it up, you can get the result's of a hepa b profile in just a day. Check HBcAb IgM, if it's negative (non reactive) then its' chronic. If it's positive (reactive), you are in acute stage.

if hbv is acute it means you didn t get it at birth and so it clears by your immune system almost 100% with no damage, hbv is a benigne infection unless you get it at birth or if you are immune compromised, no drugs needed

hello..if the status is acute then whats the best medication for it?thanks. i've done hepa profile test in san lazaro hospital unfortunately there is still no result its been two months now..whats your stage?

As of now, there is no cure for hepa b but there are first line of therapy which is considered as a therapy. About 40 - 90 % cases has been reported to seroconvert the hbsag for chronic stage hepatitis b. What is your status? acute or chronic?
if not sure, you may post your results here. If it's acute there is still a big chance for you to be cured.
