can someone get hepititis through oral sex?

dear doctor,
I am afaid my boyfriend has given me hepititis B .my  question is: If someone who has Hepititis gives someone oral sex, can they get hepititis? I am so afraid because my boyfriend's friend snuck on him one night while he was asleep and gave him oral sex, and when he finally realized what she was doing and he knocked her off of him.and just a few days ago me and my boyfriend had sexual intercourse, and I  am just afraid that he might have it and passed it along to me.So is it possibe that a person can get Hepititis through oral sex? Thank you so much.

                     Sincerly,

We can get hepatitis even from eating at food court when the eating utensils are not clean properly.

If you dont have hepatitis B, get vaccinated.
I read in this forum that vaccine wont make HBV worse if you already have it.

and vaccine is alot cheaper than treatment

There is no documented case of hepb infection via oral sex but theoretically it is possible but the chances are slim. Also, there is an incubation period for it, u cant possibly get exposed then pass it to another in a matter of days unless he's already infected long ago.

And to the 2nd poster, yes u can get it through sex, most esp unprotected penetrative sex.
