sorry i made a mistake:
28th of march before starting ntz combo, hbsag 4843.8iu/ml and hbvdna 135iu/ml
then started alternate weeks of 1500mg or 1000mg per day. i did this because 1500mg can have mild diarrea sides, now that i know it makes no sides even on 1500mg and lowered hbsag so much i keep the 1500mg dose

ntz is safe until 4000mg per day but it makes diarrea since it kills healthy bateria in the stomach so it is better to keep doage to 1000-1500mg per day and take probiotics just like when you take antibiotics to prevent mild diarrea

actually i would happy to have mild diarrea since it makes no problems...i took xenical for years which works that way...but being on cirrhois it is better to lose wheight in another way

i was firstly worried about etv study in italy on hbv genotype D hbe negative/hbeab positive, my situation, because it made a mean increase of 0.1log hbsgag, so i was worried etv worsen the situation, so i started on 29th of march with ntz-etv combo

28th of march ntz for one week 1500gr per day, hbeag 4843.8iu/ml and hbvdna 135iu/ml

made alternate weeks of 1500mg (2weeks) and 1000mg (2 weeks) and then kept the 1000mg per day until end of may

checked at 30 of april, hbsag 2292.29iu/ml hbvdna 51iu/ml (4 weeks and 5 days result)

research center is far from where i live so couldn't have hbsag readings until about 22nd of may plus i was thinking at least 24weeks where needed to see any result, so on 23rd of may i switched to 1500mg per day
i will check again on 11th or 12th week, now i have found a way to make test close where i live

my sister, exactly same values genotype ect but to combo with nucs, hbvdna less than 300iu/ml in less than 3 weeks, she has no close labs for hbsag and hbvdna pcr so she will make tests soon with more sensitive assays

we have seen such fast results only on hbe negative

only hcv trials nothing on hbv, romark told us they have no money for hbv now maybe at the end of 2010
but i have to say our alinia group is making trial like them or even better than them since now hbsag quantity test and hbvdna pcr to 12 or 2-3iu/ml are more available and i don't see these tests in US trials, only europe is very accurate.
so you just need to see our results on hbsag quantity on hbe positive or hbe negative, our trial is conferming, even though we are still at first 12-24weeks that:

hbe positive, especially asians, have slower results (maybe even 1 year to hbvdna und), i think very high hbvdna loads needs combo with etv or tnf

hbe negative and hbeab positive have immediate results and potency looks higher than etv and tnf, hbe negative has lower hbsag quantity (usually 5000-10000iu/ml) and hbvdna 5 log iu/ml.Inactive carriers (normal alt, hbvdna und) have probably the best and fastest results since they start from low hbsag (usually not more than 2000iu/ml) and hbvdna und

resistance and toxicity of the drug doesn't need any tests because already on the market since 2000 and used by millions.

they are starting the 675mg X 2 X day on hcv trials with the slow release tablet and will show results by 2010-11, in our group some are using 500mg X 2 X day and some 500mg X 3 X day.Since i have seen the hbsag drop i have switched back to the 3 pills per day, no sides

Anything on Alinia in these reports? That's probably the one thing I am curious about these days, given my undetectable VL.
