I will be flying to Paris from New York for about a week.
Is there a lab I can go to in Paris that will give me a hbsag quant test?
If yes, do i need a doctor perscription?

Tel 0143206336(if you are in Paris to call them ;but if you are out France add 0033 and omit 0 of the above number)
They open from 8h to 18.30
For test they did not but they send sample so don't worry.
The price is fixed by the other lab
For language they didn't speak English at all.try to go with some one speaks French.
For prescription.yes they need

Le laboratoire est fermé le samedi.

Le CBCV pratique le tiers-payant pour les examens et analyses qu'il propose (sauf hors nomenclature) dès lors que le patient présente une carte vitale ou une attestation de moins de trois mois émanant de son centre de sécurité sociale justifiant que ses droits sont à jour.
Recommandations
S’il est possible de venir sans rendez-vous, il est cependant conseillé de téléphoner (au 01 40 61 39 46) car certains examens nécessitent des conditions de prélèvement particulières.

Yes it is Pasteur institut and very well known but it has many labs local over paris here is one mention the address and phone numbers if you want more details you can call them .try to translate it in English.
Don't worry most of labs do tho test and if not they send the sample and give you result.in which place in Paris you will pass your journey?then I could help you to give you a lab near your hotel .

Really I didn't know the price now because I did it for free from 2012,maybe it is more cheaper but not around 15euro
it has to be much chaper now, in Poland it costs around 15 euros and they send it to Germany as I know
