since we have no data available on interferon+etv or tnf i looked in to combo therapies for hbv+hdv, the data is still very few but at least we start to know that:
interferon+telbivudine lowers hbsag very fast, 1log even in 24weeks only but miopathy sides can happen and they are due to telbivudine probably since present also in mono
interferon+tenofovir+ftc, a single case of hbv+hdv cleared in 10 months combo, no relevant sides, interferon can be the only drug in this combo with relevant sides
interferon+entecavir, still no data, entecavir potency is similar to telbivudine on hbvdna and higher on hbsag, so this combo, therorically, should have same results but no sides since etv has none
addition of nitazoxanide to these combos might lower hbsag even more and the fact that ntz has no sides makes it the ideal drug for these combos
