hepa b on pregnancy

ask ko lang po. kasi yung wife ko 7mos ng pregnant nung nagpablood test for hepa. ang result is reactive. .. ang advice nung doctor nya is to have another blood test para malaman kung carrier or positive na talaga sya for hepa b... may chance kayang positive sya? since nabasa ko din na thru sexual intercourse mapapasa yung hepa b... the thing is i've undergone thru medical every yr kasama na din blood test for  5 consecutive  yrs already sa company na pinapasukan ko, and now, nasa abroad nako and before ako makaalis may medical din, so naisip ko na wala akong hepa b because of my regular yearly medical for 6 yrs na. we have regular sex the past 5 yrs hanggang mabuntis sya for our first baby... since wala naman akong hepa b, hindi nya makukuha sakin yun kung meron nga sya nun.. ang tanong ko lang posible bang wala talaga syang hepa b, since hindi din naman ako nagkaron ng findings ng hepa b sa kabila ng regular sexual intercourse we had... kasi kung meron sya, naisip ko na dapat meron na din ako... tama po ba... hope for your feedbacks and answers.. thanks and more power

Yup... she is reactive with HBV. Yong another test nya is to determine if chronic ba or acute yong Hep B niya. Since negative yong mga test mo for the past few years.. try mo pagpatest ulit for hep b then if non-reactive so wala mo nakuha yong virus... I guess you are immune. Na immunize ka siguro sa hep b. And for your baby... paglabas ng baby kailangan e bakuna siya agad ng first shot sa hep. b for the baby's protection. First shot would be at his birth, 2nd shot will be in his first month and the 3rd will be on his 6 months... then after that... e test yong baby is reactive or not...
