Probably pharmaceutical major like cipla from  india would try to discover a new drug like rep9ac. Cipla among the one who helps the poor people of africa combat hiv by bringing down the price of the medicines from whopping $16000 per year to around a mere $500. But it's going to happen today or tomorrow for sure. At least it ll take five years to a decade or even later.

- do you refer to the http://www.hepatitistechnologies.com ?

yes and i used their products myself regressing cirrhosis in 1 year and a half instead of the 6 years needed by entecavir alone.
all the ingredients in the products have single studies on pubmed their comboed all them, this is very important because cirrhosis has no other therapies especially when very advanced

..... this study is aimed to confim that liver cells and viruses can live in balance if oxidative stress is blocked.this also explains how some people never develops liver damage despite active virus while others develop liver damage fast...they just found that people with no liver damage have a potent antioxidative stress system of their own

easl is usually the most updated together with apasl but both organizations are meant for liver specialist and often requires fees to see studies

this community is very very updated since we resport always the latest studies

the study results will be presented at internation liver congress october 2011, it is always in bostom but i think this year they moved to california

a new human trial is about to start on rep9 ac too but they will never find investors since they would kill hbv drug market in a very short time and never repay money spent for fda approval, mayne we will see these drug from china and indian first...after all they are going to be the new rich countires in the world.....while US and europe will probably hve a very hard time in the near future

do not refer to books, they are all old, just refer to latest studies from same year or 2 years back because evrything changes year by year, - I agree with this and my next question can sound stupid, but I want to ask you for some links to found this studies. (I'm recently diagnosticated  and don't know to many information, only some basic ones )

thanks!

there is also a research study by netraceutical research group canada, they developped very potent antioxidants extracted from food (this is a group of the most advanced and known researchers on the liver in the world).
human trials have shown that liver damage is made by oxidative stress due to our immune system and in small part by hbx antigen.they have reversed cirrhosis without stopping virus infection or making normal alt or hbvdna undetactable, in particular they also reversed cirrhosis in a person superinfected by hbv and hcv

this study is aimed to confim that liver cells and viruses can live in balance if oxidative stress is blocked.this also explains how some people never develops liver damage despite active virus while others develop liver damage fast...they just found that people with no liver damage have a potent antioxidative stress system of their own

hbv infection but the remaining 5% is not

statistics are better now it is 3%, not 5%, and it depnds on immune system disfunction

lately we have seen that all cronic infection are matenined by nagalase enzyme made by viruses and cancer, thismakes macrophages inactivated and immune system blind.we will soon know if gcmaf is able to clear hbv like it did with hiv and cancers on himan trials until now

do not refer to books, they are all old, just refer to latest studies from same year or 2 years back because evrything changes year by year, all books older can be thrown away because most of the things were wrong...

boost your immune system (using some pills) ? Can this boost affect the liver ?
of course, only those with low hbsag less than 1500iu/ml can clear the virus by interferon all the rest is useless because hbsag suppress immune function, it is probably the carrier of nagalase since also hiv virus surface antigen and flu virus surface antige carry nagalase

there is only one proven drug on hbv by small human trial, rep9 ac which clears hbsag and develops hbsag in weeks
it will never reach the market probably because it damages drug makers

we are waiting to see if gcmaf makes the same and in this case drug makers cant do nothing because gcmaf is a natural substance in every healthy person's blood...

ok, I will not argue that the adults can clear the hbv infection but the remaining 5% is not always depends on drugs or ... - this is what i read from several books regarding hbv.
(e.g. http://www.hepatologytextbook.com/)

you say that this hbv virus in not cytopatic, and the damage is made by the immune system - I heard this also form other sources and I can agree with this and i want to ask you if is OK to boost your immune system (using some pills) ? Can this boost affect the liver ?

but not only and not always.

always clear as adults, only 3% dont clear and this is people with immune system depressed because of use of immune suppressive drugs or because begin drug addicts or because of aids.this is why acute hbv is never treated

Is some treatment recommended in immune-tolerant stage ?
never treated because it just leads to unhealthy stage and also because there are no drugs active on hbv

A person can be consider immune-tolerant is AgHbe is positive ?
hbeag or hbeab have nothing to do with immune tollerant phase.you just have to check if you are like an healthy person despite very very high virus quantity by having normal alt/ast, very high hbvdna, very high hbsag, no liver damage by biopsy or fibroscan

you have also to know that hbv virus is not cytopatic, it means it makes no damage to humans and cells, it is our immune system to make the damage when it fails to clear the virus and just kills infected liver cells without clearing infection

First one observation: hbv usually get chronic if you get infected at birth, but not only and not always.

Is some treatment recommended in immune-tolerant stage ? (e.g. AgHbs +, AgHbe -, low HBV DNA, normal AST and ALT)

A person can be consider immune-tolerant is AgHbe is positive ?

it is a person carrying hbv without any damage or health problem

hbv gets cronic only when you get infected at birth and the baies stays immune tollerant until 30-35yo old ususally, this allows the infected person to live healthy and the same is for the virus
