is there a chance of getting hep b for this condition?
my boyfriend is hep b reactive as soon as I learned that I got my hepa titer and this shows count is 1.402 cut off value 0.269 this is last may 2013 ive test also and im hep b non reactive ? but im still worried. Is my count are low? do i need to have booster. I have my booster shot last april 2011
Assuming you tested positive to HBsAb, the test did not state how much antibody you have. A quantity of 10 IU/L is considered protective. Your result of 1.402 does not indicate how much, it is just a number indicating that you are HBsAb positive because it is above the cut-off value for the particular assay the lab used. Test again, ask the lab, you want to know the result in IU/L.
