if you can afford move to hong kong or vietnam or any country in your area, there are many posters from philippins here but this country is missing everything for hbv, from doctors to tests and doctors even use banned/discontinued dangerous drugs in the rest of the world, sorry but they are using your country as bin for failed undevellopped drugs (see revovir/clevudine)
of course hong kong is the most advanced in the area, i found a lab once with cccdna quantitation in biopsy/blood.
cccdna in the liver and fibroscan are the best and only tests to show infection situation and liver damage.easier to find hbsag quant by architect of roches quant blood tests which reflects cccdna situation and fibroscan fibrosis in the liver.
you should look for a researcher who studied in other countries or go to conferences, i doubt normal docotors in the philippines can read and understand these tests results,
so what do you think is the best??Can you plz tell me about these and why my doctor advise me to check all of these laboratories....
ALT,TPAG,HBeAG, ANTI-HBe, PTPA, AFP,AST AND CBC platelet. And also try to get ultrasound of my upper abdomen.
missing the most important tests on liver damage, not a good doctor.they don t tell liver damage, how the infection is and if it has chances to be cleared.obviously the probel is you are in the philippines were tests, prepared doctors are missing
a healthy life style to increase my immune system to lessen feather damage to my liver.
quite the opposite, immune system damages the liver on cronic hbv and is not able to do a thing to hbv.but with healthy life and antioxidant you can reduce liver damage but if you dont check liver damage and number of infected cells hbsag in iu/ml and hbsag/hbvdna pcr ratio all said is useless
as i said above no tests for hbv that are useful to understand the infection are available in the philippines
