Serum Sickness?

Is there anyone else in this forum who is still in the "acute" stage of hep b and is going through serum sickness? I was diagnosed with acute hep b back in August and only experienced joint pain. In the past couple of months, I have experiences a wide array of serum sickness (Raynaud's, nausea, weight loss, inflammation, etc.). Is there anyone else here who can share their story?

Progression to a chronic infection in adults is 6-10%, risk factors are not well understood. My first post details some of my experience.  Best of luck.

Thanks everyone. I was aware of the fact that most adults clear the infection and it doesn't turn chronic. What I wasn't aware of and didn't expect was symptoms and sickness happening 4 months into the acute phase. I am feeling sicker as time goes on and was wondering if this was typical. It sounds like the reason I am getting sicker is because my body is developing the antibodies that kill the virus. Could that be true?  Thanks again for all of your help. Its so much better than the information and help I have been getting from my doctors.
Acccording to this website i'm linking symptoms begin to show up on average of 90 days (range 60-150 days) after initial infection with hbv. The symptoms could last throughout the acute phase of the disease, i.e, 6 months. The symptoms that you are experiencing may or may not be due to hbv, but in case they are related to your hbv infection, i think it is somewhat good sign that your body is fighting back the infection. I hope and wish you clear the virus within the acute phase.
Good luck

acute hbv is always cleared in adults unless immune system is compromised.the only serious study made found only about 2.5% of chronicity.telling symptoms is useless because that s your immune system clearing the infection, just check hbsag quantity in iu/ml
