There is no medicine for hbv except tenofovir which will only be prescribed to you if needed and that cost around 1000₹ per month. Chill down I don't think u need to worry much as u seem ok and also young. Meet a good gastrologist in ur city and that will do more than enuff.

yes taf is in clinical trials in india my doctor also told me.
Regarding the initial screening tests it will take around 20 thousand in general including all the required screening tests, those includes:

hbsag
hbeag
hbvdna quantitative
ultrasound
fibroscan
Gi endoscopy
LFT
CBC
if you will require medications doctor will run some additional tests such as:

blood sugar
KFT
prothombin
LDH

as doctor prescribed me tenofovir so he ran these extra tests on me.

Varsa are u aware of any news of TAF availablity in India?
Avatar universal
It depends on ur disease status. There is no preset price. Still basic tests cost roughly as follows
Hbsag 300₹
Hbeag 1000₹
Hbc igG igM 2000₹
Hbv DNA 7000₹
Hbsag quantitative 600-1000₹
Lft 600-800₹
CBC 450₹
Rest are hospital and doctor charges which vary greatly. I don't think those will be too high at ilbs.
