I've also seen that 90 percent figure for rapid responders.

Your chances of SVR are based on when your HCV RNA become undetectable during treatment. Knowing when you became UND will give you a better idea of your chances of SVR then when others relapse.

"Most patients with genotype 1 who achieve undetectable HCV RNA do so after Week 4 of treatment. Previous studies have demonstrated that approximately 35% of genotype 1 patients achieve undetectable HCV RNA between Week 4 and 12 of treatment. Another 15% of genotype 1 patients achieve undetectable HCV RNA between Week 12 and 24 of treatment.” Virtually no patients will achieve undetectable HCV RNA levels after Week 24 if they have not done so already by that time point, regardless of genotype".

If UND by week 4 = 90% chance of SVR.
If UND by week 12 = 66% chance of SVR.
If UND by week 24 = 45% chance of SVR.

"My understanding is the highest percentage of relapse occurs in the first 4 weeks.  Some people on this sight have said that 85-90 percent occur in this timeframe.  So this is really good news for you.  maryellen"

I just looked at several studies today and they said the same.  If you need them I can get the cites for you.

When did you become undetected during tx and what sensitivity test did you have post-tx?
