8 week Gilead 7977/5885 combo (Lonestar)

The 1/7/13 Gilead press release said enrollment was then underway for a new Phase 2 study for Geno 1 treatment-naive patients of 7977/5885 +/- RBV for 8 weeks and also the combo without RBV for 12 weeks.  This study is called "Lonestar" and is NCT01726517 on the ClinicalTrials.gov website.  Dosing is only in San Antonio. Does anyone have any info about how patients fared who dosed with this combo for 8 weeks with and without RBV?  gsx1250fa, you dosed in San Antonio -- did you hear anything about this study?

I am sorry I meant this question for you.  Any news of how the 8 week arm is doing now?  Are they still SVR?

Thanks so much!

Hi. I am in the 12 week arm with riba in San Antonio. I asked the coordinator how the naive 8 week group were doing and he said all post tx were und except for one who relapsed quickly. He/she went directly on the 'rescue" protocal and was und again within a week. My group consists of null responders some cirrhotic (like me) and some not. Half got the riba and half didn't. Not all were und by week 4, but all non-und were <25. My 12th week finish was last Tuesday. I go back in next week for the 2 week post Tx blood draw. I will ask how the others in my group finished up. I was und week 4,8 and 12. We shall see what the future holds in store.....I really need SVR this time :) I am more than ready to rid myself of this "black cloud" that constantly overshadows me. Hopes and prayers for all of us.
