ABdominal pains

Hi i was diagnosed with hep c 4 years ago. In the last year i have been suffering with a tight heavy pulling pain in chest. I was told it could be stress and given anxiety tablets. The pain has been causing me to wake at 3am (nightly) with panic attacks. I have found that my heart and blood pressure is fine. And now I know this, my panic attacks have lessened. But the pains have not. It is getting very hard to cope with this because it is now beginning to happen during the daytime. I am worried about this and the doctor is not helping me. I am suffering worse and worse and it is really getting me depressed. If anyone can give any advice it would be greatly appreciated. It seems my doctor thinks it is stress. But ive had this for over a year now. There must be something wrong

Try a different doctor or you are not going to get relief.  Maybe you could try changing your diet and eating habits.  Maybe you are depressed or stressed.  Depression can cause anxiety.

Hepatitis C does not cause chest pain. If you aren't happy with what your doctor told you, see if you can see a heart specialist and have a work up so you can be at ease.
