How do I calculate my ANC value. I dont see and would like to understand.

I didn't realize that the Gran was the same as Neu's.  I thought the Gran was a sub-type of the Neutrophils.  If that is true, which I will look up tonight, then your ABS Gran is your ANC level which you calculated 2.4.  

These numbers become mind boggling sometimes.  It can become overwhelming.  And yes your numbers look great!

Do you have a Neu # on your labs? That is the ANC level

Or you can calculate with the WBC and Neu%

          it would be nice if there was a ANC calculator on site.  you can google anc caculator and enter your cbc results for neutrophil %, bands % and wbc and click.  takes 10 seconds.        barry

Had to look it up, no Neu% on CBC, according what I was just reading they are one in the same. Gran% vs Neu%

Copied my CBC 4-25-2013. And uploaded it into my pictures. Please have a look. Still trying to wrap my head around this stuff...guess I should have stayed in school.
