Your ALT and AST are slightly elevated they are liver enzyme tests and become elevated when something may be bothering your liver. The other tests appear as best I can tell normal as you said they are mushed together.

The other tests are for hep a hep b and hep c antibodies.

You tested negative for hep a and hep b

I don't know much about the significance of numbers on hep c antibody tests but my guess is you test positive for antibodies to hep c.

You likely will need a test for the hep c virus called HCV RNA by PCR or similar name. Some people (about 25%) can be exposed to hep c and beat the infection on their own but the remainder go on to being chronically infected.

However if you do have hep c there armed new medicines approved in the last couple of years that are highly effective with most saying they have minimal side effects. Treatment could be as simple as 1 pill a day for 8 weeks and you are cured depending on the type of hep c called genotype.

I know this is concerning for you right now but if you do have hep c you will very likely be cured with very little effect on your life.

Good luck
Lynn
