Never had it nor have i ever heard of it.... Thats why people go years without knowing they have Hep C
There is no such term as "acute hcv abdominal pain" so what exactly are you asking about? The virus itself doesn't cause pain. In fact as con-do says, most people who are infected with hepatitis C have no symptoms at all until they develop advanced liver disease after 20-40 years of chronic infection. Are you asking about some type of abdominal pain? Please describe the pain (sharp, dull, comes in waves etc.) and the location (front, back, near your navel, or near your ribs, etc,) on the body you are talking about.
The more specific your question and the current status of your hepatitis C and any liver damage you might have the better answers we can provide.
Thanks.
Howie
Thank you for your reply....I have a discomfort feeling sometimes feels like a crampy feeling on my right side. Sometimes jus under my ribs sometimes jus below ribs on right side. It comes and goes. I read online that pain in that region is a symptom of acute. I had a neg antibody test 9-10 weeks post exposure of accidently using someones toothbrush of unknown status.
