Achy legs

I completed my interferon treatment 10 years ago and have been negative since.  About 4 years ago I had a hysterectomy because of fibroid tumors.  My right leg and hip has been hurting since.  I never connected it with my Hepatitis C.  Most of the posts I see are from people in tratment.  Is there anyone that has had a successful treatment and still has the leg pain?

Agree with nygirl7.

I'm wondering if you have been checked for sciatica. The sciatic nerve starts in the hip area and goes all the way down to the foot. I know when I'm extremely constipated it hurts from my hip to my foot on the right side, and that turned out to be my problem. Maybe things got moved inside of you a tad during your surgery and something is pressing on the nerve. I can tell you that that will hurt like the devil, especially when bending over or sitting down.

My gyn thinks it is that.  I have an appointment with a GI specialist.  After ten years of the virus being undectible, I just never connected it with my HepC diagnosis.  Thanks for your help!

It could also be scar tissue from the hysterectomy.  I still get the twinges in my right hip from the same surgery.  Good Luck

Unfortunately, none of us are getting any younger round here...my guess would be that it has nothing to do with the ten year old hep treatment honestly.  We always want to blame everything on the hcv tx because it gives us something we can put our finger right on but usually things are completely unrelated. But if it makes any of us feel better we can always say that is what it is right?  :)

I hope you are feeing better soon. Pain *****!
