Hi I am sorry to say the only thing that will cure you is treatment
There are "live friendly" diets that can help you be healthier but nothing will get rid of Hep C but tx.  The drug companies are helping people that do not have insurance.  You could ask your doctor or you could contact the drug companies yourself though you will have to have a doctor in order to treat.
Good luck

I want to add that several hepatologists at Stanford have told me "Whatever you do, don't try any Chinese herbs, as some of them can be extremely dangerous for a compromised liver." I believe they had recently lost a patient due to use of Chinese herbs. I no longer take ANYTHING without running it past them first.

I don't know how many people are trying Chinese herbs. However, what I can tell you is that Chinese herbs are not going to get rid of your Hep C virus.

If you want to treat and get rid of the Hep C virus you need to be on one of the approved Hep C treatment regimens.

Currently, depending on your Genotype, that regimen would consist of Interferon and Ribavirin, and, if Genotype 1, also a protease inhibitor.

Keep in mind that some herbs can actually cause harm to the liver.
