Antibiotics that work for dental infection during treatment

I am on week 17 SOC, did first 12 weeks with Incivek.

I have an abscess tooth. Badly infected. Tried Penicillin VK, infection stayed. Trying Clindamycin- not helping to well so far after 3 days.

Doctors office hard to get a hold of and dentist is out of ideas.

I will ask my Dr office tomorrow- but need to throw this question out:

Question:

Who had antibiotics for dental infection during treatment and what antibiotic worked for you?

Thanks

By the way that was because I was cirrhotic.
They also prescribe Cipro before dental work for us that are decompensated and are prone to infections which can be very serious for us. And cause us to be hospitalized and put on IV antibiotics.

Here at the transplant center they give us Cipro during hepatitis C treatment to prevent infections. I tool it for months. Seemed to work. No infections.
