I take Paxill...in fact it was my GI who prescribed it a month before I went on treatment. That was three years ago now and he's not even encouraged me to go off it so I'd say it's metabolized in the kidneys and not the liver.

It works great.

I take Zoloft. OK for liver to an extent. Not many medications are so called "liver friendly."
Fretboard is correct that HepC and depression go hand and hand depending on the progression of your disease.

On anti-depressants I think there's quite a few that are "liver friendly" I was prescribed Zoloft a long time ago.  I never took it long enough for it to kick in but I've also been offered Paxil, but I personally rejected that offer.  Depression is quite common with HepC so I'm sure there's no shortage of very effective one's that are safe.  Also there are some types of Amino-Acids that work fairly well for depression.  I'm sure someone who knows more will show up soon.  God Bless
