“DescriptionTelaprevir, marketed under the brand names Incivek and Incivo, is a pharmaceutical drug for the treatment of hepatitis C co-developed by Vertex Pharmaceuticals and Johnson & Johnson. It is a member of a class of antiviral drugs known as protease inhibitors.”

Mostly today they are calling us cured remission is more of a cancer thing.

We had a virus the virus has been eridicated we are cured.

I treated 3 times with the old interferon based meds but was a null responder. I was finally cured in 2015 with 24 weeks of Harvoni and ribavirin. Unfortunately I eaddiagnosed with cirrhosis 7 years before I was able to find an effective treatment

Congrats on your cure of hep C

I have been in remission since 1998.  Liver is now fully functual.  Blood tests are normal, but still checked 2 times a year.  I was treated at San Francisco State University in 1997, with Pegasus and another combination, the name of which I cannot remember (it started with a "T").
