Cause of neutropenia

I have read a couple of articles that have been exchanged through the community in this regard. Yet, I fail to understand the root cause of interferon connected with leucocyte and neutrophil supression. My last test report infact ha shown a decline in neutrophile, but wbc being stable- though low. This means that my neutophil to wbc ratio is also disturbed!

slight immune/ bone marrow suppression so it's very important to be careful and take in a lot of nutrients to supplement how hard the bones are working

The wbc is the total # of the 5 different whites.  Neutrophils are the most prevalent of the 5.  One set of numbers shows the actual estimated count of each of the white types. Notice the numbers below that that shows percentages.  Neutrophils should be about 40-75% of all the whites.  When your blood is normal, all of the %'s add to 100%.  As the drugs start crashing your blood, they go to less than 100%.  They suppress bone marrow production of reds and whites.

Chart out all your numbers and you will get a clearer picture of what's happening.  This is the part that your medical team is watching the closest.  You can get a feel for it and be on top of it.
