Cautiously optimistic results week1, ANC dropped

I am cautiously optimistic with week 1 lab results as I know it is very early. Any thoughts, give it to me good or bad please.

HCV RNA PCR TAQMAN 2.0   HCV RNA 336 IU/ml, baseline was 17,700,000

Also concerned about ANC and Platelets
Baseline ANC 3.18, week 1 screening .98
Baseline Platelets 203, week 1 screening 81
I believe I have read the ANC and platelets can crash early however will recover some. Any fact to this?

HGB baseline was 16.0, week 1 screening 13.8. So far so good on this although I know it is early.

That is too bad about no rescue drugs.  I hope your ANC stays up.  My doctor will not order neupogen until it is consistently under .750.  I did dop to .500 at week 4 but it has come back up nicely since then and was 1.4 two days ago.

I did shot #1 and went in for blood work 1 week later so I had only had one shot. I do shot #3 tonight. Thanks for the replys.

Trial GS-US-256-0124 with GS 9451 protease, GS 5885 NS5A, interf/riba.
No rescues only dose reductions. ANC < .75 peg reduction, ANC < .5 stop peg until recover. Platelets <50 peg. reduction, PLT <25 stop peg until recover. I just pulled out labs from 6 years ago and noticed they dropped at week 2 although recoverd some by week 4. I know that was then but still????????? Have hope though.

Both your ANC and platelets will bounce around during tx. Curious if your blood draw was soon after your shot as that is a big drop in those for just one week.

Almost a 5 log drop in viral load, thats great for only one week...... Hang in there

Wow.. that is a great drop in RNA for one week!  Which Gilead are you in?  Pretty fast drop in ANC, but it could level out.  Do they allow neupogen in your trial?  I was on a gilead trial for a hot minute and they did allow it but had to ask for it, it was not offered.
