16th shot

Well I'm still in the game so far..took my shot Friday night joints in pain Sat morning still in pain. Man I gotta go see my lung Dr. about this cough, its like I'm coughing all the time. I don't know if its the ribo or just me so I am going to try to get an appt. I hope I can being that it's Christmas an all. At Thanksgiving they all split town..lol And I ended up getting a transfusion I didn't really need, says my Dr. They took me off my procrit because my blood work Thur put my hemoglobin  at 10.2 but I think the pegs Friday took a chunk outta that. Why would they take me off procrit? I don't understand that one, I know that I am really tired without today.

Let us know what the doctor says about your cough.  I'm hoping they can give you something to settle your cough down so you can rest.  Regarding Procrit, in my husband's case, when he became anemic during therapy #2 last year (daily infergen injections + riba), they kept him on weekly Procrit until he discontinued the treatment.  I think they did weekly CBCs too.

your doing good ! over 10 from where you were you must feel much better...the cough is a drag...i couldn't stop at times...i think its just a phase with the riba and it will get better....i would do blood work twice a week for a while...that way if you start to tank you'll catch it...in the 10s sounds good to me though...i'm still in the 10s almost 4 weeks after i stopped tx...i think your really doing good from where you were a few weeks ago...good luck...billy
