thanks for the well wishes, everybody! I guess these meds want to make my last 3 weeks miserable for a going away present, my stomach has not been happy this last week. ugg
IL28B is a marker in your DNA that can predict how well you will respond to the interferon, TT is one of 3 divisions or whatever, I'm not totally up on the technical jargon. There's CC, CT and TT, listed in order of best response.
I'm in the Gilead trial with Gilead drugs 9451 and 5885(?) and PEG/RIBA for 24 to 48 weeks.
Less than 20 days, now. woo-hooo!
richard, go to the right hand side of this page at the bottom. it will say "most viewed health pages." go to hep c acronyms/abbreviations. it'll tell you what things we talk about are. best wishes. belle
LOL. I didn't mean to address you personally, I just hit reply at the end! :-)
Hi Richard: Welcome to the HCV forum! Good on you for trying to understand the lingo. SInce you addressed to me your question, "What does TT mean?", I'll give you the courtesy of responding by saying that I don't know. I sense "TT" is related to the Gilead trial. I'm not familiar with that trial -- I'm on triple therapy (Incivek). Maybe someone else who reads this can answer your question. Regards, GB
What does TT mean? Sorry, new to form and just learning lingo!
AK: The finish line is in sight! Get ready to go fishing!!
Glad to hear you are doing so well. Which Gilead trial are you in?
You must have started treatment about the same time as me. I have three weeks and 4 days It feels good to be so close to the finish line. Hoping you remain virus free forever.
Congratulations. You had such a great response. Keeping my fingers crossed you can quit all drugs. I am just starting my 20th week of same trial. My response good in the beginning is still not Undected as of 16 weeks. But still hopeful.
