Does less than 100 copies = undetected

I am in week 36 of 48 so I see light.  This is an example of what my PCR lab results from Lab Corp have looked like at the 4th week and the 12th week. My GI says this means undetected.  If my SVR results after 6 months after EOT come back with this data does that mean I have a true SVR or should I be asking for a better test?  I've heard conflicting comments.  Thanks

NGI HCV SuperQuant
Hepatitis C Quantitation
                             Less than 100 copies/mL                      Copies/mL

HCV log10
Unable to calculate result since non-numeric result obtained for component test

International Units
                              Less than 40 IU/mL                               IU/mL
Unable to calculate result since non-numeric result obtained for component test

Test Information

PCR assay performed using National Genetics Institutes validated,
proprietary methodology.  Results greater than or equal to 100 Copies/mL of HCV RNA indicate the presence of virus-specific nucleic acid sequence.

Thanks, I think I will call him tomorrow and see about ordering a more sensitive test.

If my GI ordered a more sensitive test for example that went down to 15 and I was above that, I wonder if that would mean that I was not a likely candidate for SVR and if my GI would stop treatment here in my 36th week. I guess I would have to talk to him about it.

Yes as your viral load after 6 months post treatment would be way higher then 100 if the virus is still there.......... Good luck

No test goes down to zero which is why the best they can tell you is undetected below a certain level.
I agree with Diana, your test should be more sensitive. Some go as low as 5, mine went to 40.
You are undetected to 100.
Ask your doctor to order a more sensitive test.

Ummm, I do not think the test is sensitive enough
The results should show UND or Not Detected and I am not aware of anyone using 100 as a limit anymore

My test for example goes down to 15

So answer is No, less than 100 does not mean undetected
