Dog Bite

My mother is diagnosed with hepatitis C. She is being treated holistically and seems to be holding her own quite well for a woman of 80 years. She was bit by my dog yesterday. I tried to convince her to go to the ER and have a tetnus shot given and some antibiotics. She declined going there or to her physician because she feels that if she gets the shot she will lose her memory and that she cannot tolerate antibiotics. I have tried everything short of dragging her to the hospital-I would like to leave her with some dignity but, she is trying my patience with her attitude. She has suffered some mini strokes in the past which is what caused her memory lapse. Not medication. She wants to use a castor oil poltice per Edgar Cayce's book. What adverse effects should I look for in her due to this bite and her non treatment of it?
