EWWWWWWWWWWWE??????
Are you doing sheep again?
What in the wool did I tell you about that shtuff?

funny stuff. Reminds me, I was watching this sex expert on tv (kind of old like Dr. Ruth which always seems so incongruous that I can never change the channel), and anyway... this guy called in asking if he could catch stuff by licking shoes. Umm... gymn shoes in particular (that has GOT to be harder to explain to your gf than high heels). Anyway, I got the distinct impression he was worried about some type of athlete's foot as opposed to a more serious disease, but she almost laughed before she told him no. I could see her trying to tamp it down. It was much better late night stuff than the infomercials...
Ewwwwwe....
Who would lick anything else?
(I'm assuming with the ankle straps like the tango dancers, right?)
Only if they are come :F: me red pumps with monkey hair soles...
don't go licking her shoes to find out.
Uh-oh. I can catch stuff from licking shoes???
You're very welcome --- and much luck at your doc's appointment tomorrow - ok?
Thanks everyone. I appreciate the help/kind words.
Dude - if you have OCD --- (or really CDO --- LMAO)
Then you need to absolutely STAY AWAY from the forums with diseases in them.
SERIOUSLY...
Otherwise you will be like my friend who has OCD and is BiPolar...
OMG -- she searches the internet for her symptoms and decides she is going to die --- then has to find the remedy for everything --- and then she spirals down into the valley of darkness....
I'm telling you --- DO NOT ALLOW YOURSELF TO DO THAT!
OK?
If you're going to worry about things --- find a way to make money... Worry about how to best become RICH RICH RICH...
Don't worry about washing your hands a zillion times a day --- or scrubbing the floor with a toothbrush... Stop thinking about how many times you have to make your bed or wash your hair or shampoo your carpets....
A KAZILLION people have lived happily ever after walking in New York Streets --- and only vacuuming their house once a week (as long as it stays semi clean and there are no pets, etc.) ---- and just keep your house NORMALLY CLEAN... don't get all punked out or anything...
Because if you do --- you're only going to worry yourself to death - and that my friend is NOT NORMAL -- -and is NOT GOOD.
Be healthy --- live healthy --- take care of your body, mind and soul... LAUGH... LAUGH a LOT...
Find the humor in the world...
Giggle at the sun falling down on your bed in the morning - with the dust motes dancing in the air... It's a glorious thing to let go and be happy.
Honest.
Don't visit forums with diseases --- because then you will find a symptom that matches what you normally feel - and then you will self diagnose yourself and spiral into a horrid life of fear.
And that's not what you want...
If it makes you happy to clean - then go forth with the feather duster and steam cleaner.
But be happy whatever you do!
And do me a favor --- if you are worried about these kinds of things - journal them and then look back at each individual thing that you were worried about all month --- then all year --- and if you find yourself laughing at yourself (which is ok to do - btw) then know that you're thinking WAY WAY WAY too much about the bad things in life --- and it's time to start thinking about the GOOD things in life.
Hugs and much luck... Lotsa good books out there to read.

No point in cleaning the floor again, you're past the window period that the virus can live on surface blood IF there was any. You're fine. Good luck with your OCD, that's got to be rough.
Trish
It's ok. i know it is a ridiculous question, so I understand why you might have a hard time believing I'm serious. I was diagnosed with OCD recently and I'm just beginning treatment.
Just one more question about it, and I'm really sorry to be so paranoid: do you think It's necessary to clean the floor as Meki suggested? I just did this a day or two ago and I don't really have the energy to do it again at the moment unless it's that advisable.
Thank God I have a therapy session tomorrow :(
sorry Memphis, we thought you were not really serious.
Hepatitis C is a blood borne disease. You have to get blood into an open wound, for it to be transmitted.
You cannot get it that way.
Thanks for the reassurance... what are "onothread" and "clippers"?
let me tell ya about a fish I caught...........
another onothread, reminds me of clippers
Sure --- it can track inside...
And yep --- if you got down there and licked it --- and if your dog played in it --- and so on and so on.
Dude --- chill the heck out.
Please stop thinking so hard about things --- If your girlfriend had stepped in a pile of dog poop --- would you be worried about getting Round Worm from your carpet?
Holy toledo... That's rough...
EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE...
BUT PROBABILITY MUST PLAY A ROLE
AND REALITY MUST CRASH IN OCCASIONALLY.
Chances are 99.99999% no you aren't gonna get AIDS/HCV/HBV/DYSLEXIA/WORMS from the trace amounts of leftover ketchup your girlfriend stepped in on the sidewalk and then walked a few more feet on pavement or ground that has been walked upon for years --- and then walked into your house --- and stepped on your carpet...
Just please --- don't lick the carpet to find out --- and for goodness sakes - vacuum or sweep or something.
Sigh..
This question --- while logical in form --- shows me that you are too bored and need to go read a book or watch a movie --- or better yet, go outside and play!!!!
LMAO!
NO --- it's 99.99999999999999999999999999999999999% NOT a POSSIBLE MODE OF TRANSMISSION.
But --- don't go licking her shoes to find out.
