Extra meds......

It appears I may have 5-6 months worth of extra meds when my 48 wks are up.  maybe 5-6 months worth of riba, interferon, and procrit.

Any ideas on organizations I might could contact to donate this medication?  I know there are people out there with no insurance that really could use this medication.
Thanks,

Jean

I would hang onto them for a while.  Every now and then someone has an emercency and needs just a few ribas.  Of course you would take into consideration where that request is cominmg from.  I;m trying to say I would make sure it is a long timer / not someone that just hit the board.

I am sure you will get more ideas but if it was me, I would hang onto them for emergency help for others.

What is the shelf life of inf & procrit

Ask your own doc or contact  a local teaching hospital.

As someone on this forum recommended when I had a similar situation, consider holding on to the extra meds until you have completed your own tx. You may break a syringe or as I did one morning in a complete fog, inadvertantly tossed my morning dose of riba into the trash.

Good Luck with your tx.
