My platelets have been around 65 since March, and stayed there throughout treatment May 8-July 30.  I am hoping so much that a cure of the Hep C will result eventually in improvement of portal hypertension and raising of platelets.

Prior to transplant, normal platelet count was 75-85.. during the triple therapy with Incivek, they dropped into the 30's.

Post transplant up to 115 - 130

4 weeks into S/O treatment and they were at 127 as of Monday.

So now.. a nose bleed or shaving cut is no longer life threatening ;-)

I am not on this treatment, but when I was on the Incivek triple therapy my platelets dropped, also there was always additional phrasing on the lab reports alluding to my platelets clotting so the amount on the lab sheet may not be correct. I relapsed on the Incivek, and haven't had any treatment in over a year and my platelets are still low at 130, but clotting is still mentioned on my labcorp results. I do have fatty liver and that seems to be a grey area for my gastroenterologist.and I don't know if fatty liver would cause it.

sorry for me none of the above.

I have cirrhosis so my platelets have been around 85-90 for several years. Mine did go up on the 4 week test to 110  but since then have been at my usual low. I did Sovaldi Olysio for 12 weeks.
