Well, my ole man is good. 6 days in the ER, and they told him that they could not find ANYTHING wrong with him. He went in, cause he was dizzy. He left, STILL dizzy. Last week he saw an ENT, and they belive that it is something in the inner ear, brought on by a viral infection. Doc's told him that the ear are not firing in sync with one another, and he would just have to wait till they learn how to get back in sync.

As far as the job, completed the medical, and just had the structured interview last week. Everything went well, and I think i did pretty damn good. Lady conducting the interview loved me, said that I was a charmer!! I had her smiling and laughing the entire interview.. The key to a woman is to keep her amused!! LOL

But hope all is well on your end.

Dyce and Illona ---- a great big fat welcome to the tribe. At least the anxiety is over at last, eh? My first weeks were a breeze - hope yours are the same.  Just watch the bloodwork closely.  Make sure you get copeies of EVERYTHING.  Sorry it was rough yesterday, Dyce.  Don't think I would want to do it in the morning either.

Azgirl -- what is the deal -- another 2 weeks of anxiety for you?  I am not getting to read all the posts lately so don't understand why.  I hope this is the last delay for you.  How is the hubby doing and how is your little boy?

Chriskid - yuk yuk yuk keep 'em comin.  Just love your wit -- now don't tell me that riba is fogging your brain.

jojogirl -- I am a stress eater too.  ALways wanted to be one of those people who didn't eat with stress, but , alas, never worked that way.  I am glad to hear your thyroid is okay - at least, I assumed they checked for that.  I hope for you too the anxiety for pretreatment will not last too long.

Strator -- I was just a singin' right along.  THanks.  I am glad you had that conversation with your neighbor.  He sounds like a compassionate person like you.  I do hope his daughter responds to this treatment.

Nygirl - well, what did you think of our SciFi night Friday.  I loved it.  You know I met my hubby and his dad at a cafeteria for dinner last night and actually left when we were still in line (too many sports teams in town) so I could go home and watch our shows.

I am going to see some live music tonight.  Cross Canadian Ragweed is coming to town (they are a hot band from Austin).  I'm thinkin' there are going to be some surprised people there tonight expecting to see a country western band (they are anything but.....)  Hope I can stay awake for it.....

All, have a great Saturday.  I will think about you as I sit at my desk and slave away.

My heart goes out to that little girl and her family and I will pray for her recovery as well as all of us.

There are ANGELS among us that come in large and small packages and that the suffering of someone close to them opens them up to the suffering of others.

GOD BLESS,

lol, you don't know what you're missing....come to upstate NY, 4 hrs nrth of  NYC, and i'll teach you about snow. if you insisted,i'd even let you do my whole driveway. don't let the dog bother you...he'll taunt you til you throw snow on him, shakes it off and runs off, only to return for more. takes twice as long to finish when he's 'helping'!!!!

beautiful sentiments...hope this child beats it, have heard they are making great strides with childhood luekemia...and youre absolutely right, there are a lot of decent people out there, if you give them a chance...

gotta tell you though, the whole concept of shoveling snow is really out there for me...being a Mexican kid from LA, but you have a way of calling forth these wonderful images...

Aw actually I had a decent day today. Last few days I been all stressed out, frustration level with too much going on has really been kickin me into riba explosions.
Interesting though, I went out to shovel this snow w/my kid late yesterday afternoon. While we were out there my ex brother inlaw drives up in his pickup and plow and did my driveway, nice. Anyway I saw a neighbor out shoveling, the father of the little girl w/leukemia I posted about here once, a real angel. Asked how she was(must be 11 now)...she

Just sing...
I see trees of green, red roses too
I see them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world

Okay, now let's practice that with a Riba attitude...

now sing with me...
I see trees pee green, and rotting fruit
I see them fly across the room
And I think to myself, but then I forget
I see rashes red and gasp for breath
This frikkin day, ain't over yet
And I think to myself, but then I forget...

Naw...not really...welcome both, don't go by my jaded outlook, I was up doin a rush job til 4, then they drained blood for my 24wk pcr this morning then I worked in the cold, and I'm still trying to put a new motor in my dryer(some of the tools I've used will never be found again, they went to riba purgatory). And I'm sittin here smilin so it Can't be that bad... truly.
May your path be clear and easy,
Don

Hang in there my friend, the first shot was like that for me too.  I found it to be the worse and Sun will be # 10 for me.  I found the pain pills very helpful for the aches and pains.  Tylenol worked great on the fever if you get it.  Will be thinking of you tonight.

Welcome to the board!  Just did shot 3 yesterday.  One wonderful side effect I have had is that all of my joint pain has gone.  This surprised me as I thought it would be the opposite, lots of joint pain.  NP thought this was a good sign as she thought I am probably killing off the virus in my joints quickly, yeah.  Such a strange disease.

Thread was closed below, but I just wanted to congratulate you on your accomplishment. Took big ones to gamble on the short course tx, with so few studies and all.......But you did it and prevailed!!!
I'm due for my 6 month PCR just about now also. Have the lab request here in front of me, just sort of been avoiding it. Of course I want to know, but at the same time, I'm in NO hurry!!! Feels good post tx, KNOWING your undetectable, doesn't it?

Say high to Mr & Mrs Busch for me!!! Sure seems like an eternity since I met up with them!!
