I'm very happy for you. Truly, you give us all hope.
You need to get your dr. to write you a perscriction for whatever it is you need. This is dangerous and unless you know what name brand and generic looks like you might get something else. I have a friend and she ordered what she thought was Valium and she was sent something else. She had to be hospitalized over it. Please use extreme caution as there is medication that cannot be filtered through the liver. You didn't state what side effects you are having and if it is depression please tell your doctor. You don't want drug induced heart failure. Please post your symptoms. I am concerned.
Congratulations! It always is nice to hear that this nasty medicine is doing its job! I know you are so excited! Today is a special day all the way around because I just now got the news also of "undetectable" 3 month tx. Good Luck to you!
Thanks for sharing your wonderful news with us. Best wishes for continued good health!

Hi, I hope you guys don't mind if I ask a question here. I notice you had said at the beginning that you were negative for the Heptimax. Well, the thing is, I came back negative for the Heptimax also, and the doctor seemed to think this meant that I did not have HepC, and that the first test, which was a PCR test and came back positive, was a mistake. But, I notice on this board where it seems that quite a few HepC positive people come back with a negative Heptimax, and I was just a little confused. I had also had a negative qual and quan before the Heptimax, and he did that last one, he said, just to be sure, and do the most sensitive one. He had said something like, it's unusual to have no viral load if you've never been treated, and of course, I hadn't. I can't believe I'm still looking for answers with this, I just called the GI's office that I went to, the doc I saw then is somewhere else now, and I tried to request my medical records with those negative blood tests, and they can't find my files. I've called a couple of times already, and I haven't heard back yet. I had copies myself a while back, but in the move, I must have lost them. I now see how important it is to keep all your medical records safe. I hope you're all doing well, I tell you, without this board, I would be a mess. Thanks so much for the help you always give me on here. I am still trying to take care of my liver since I know I have some issue with elevated enzymes and fat in the liver, he said that can have serious consequences. Do you guys take vitamin E? I read where that was really good for the liver. OK~~well have a great day, and thanks again! Val
Great news..........gives us hope.......thanks for sharing!
Thanks for the GREAT news today! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!
I am extremely happy for you. This is the best news ever.
I was in your shoes last month and I still fell the sweetness
of being undetectable 6 monthes post treatment. Good luck.
I'm glad to hear you are being seen by an endocrinologist and hope things will be getting under controll soon. I can understand your "mixed feelings" about extending tx. Wow, what a struggle it's been for you!
My last visit to the endo was about 3 weeks ago. My levels (which are too high...opposite of you) were starting to come back down and she expects they will be back in normal range soon. I test again for her and for my GI on April 23. I can tell it's normalizing because I feel soooooooooo much better. I'm back to working 3/4 time and will be full time on May 3. Yes, it's possible for my thyroid to go back to normal. In fact my endo says there's a 50% chance I'll go hypo for a while and only a 5% chance it will stay that way permanantly. I'm, of course, hoping for the 50% chance my levels just go to and stay at normal.
Hang in there and I hope you continue to improve. caruu
Thanks for your concern, but I am under a doctors care to catch any depression. I have alot of anxiety and in this cases it may be easer and cheaper to just order the meds. I am aware of what the brand names and the generics look like and would check any meds that I was not familer with.

Congratulations, i'm so happy for you.
I'm curious were you undetectable after 12 weeks ?
I just got my week 12 viral load back and I started at 1,360,000 now down to 300,000. I'm 1a, and doctor recommended I continue to week 24 and we'll chk viral load again. Has anyone heard of someone becoming undetectable at 24 if they weren't after week 12 ?
