HAVING TROUBLE GETTING INFO

I recieved my labs on saturday and posted. Results were <5 iu/ml hepimax by quest. When i called my NP she reported  "I have not recieved yet", when i read results she said that there may be a trace, but backed off the statement due to lack of testing center. Has anyone used a quest hepimax test and the results read undetectable or is <5 undetectable. My doctor is so not vested in my treatment and nurse seems overwhelmed and rushed me off the phone.

Hey looks like you are UND is week four and this is always promising. The next step is to be UND in your next set of labs. I realize this is all very new to you so it is with great reluctance I suggest you not take a seemingly innocuous comment a medical professional makes off the cuff without even seeing test results.

Also, given just how many lab tests we have in the beginning It is not so unusual for a doctor to not be as extensively involved with this particular aspect of treatment.

Still, if you are feeling blown off and discounted sometimes the best thing to do is schedule an appointment to discuss these things - especially in the beginning. That way you won't be left on your own to interpret results or feeling like you don't matter the longer you progress in treatment.  I mean it is either that or read a few long, dry journal articles about the Heptimax.

I honestly mean this since in the beginning when we have the chance to do this we do not always know what our questions are. That way this will be settled and it will go a long way into relieving your anxiety....and helping you feel more "Prepared."
= =>I did it the first time I treated (upon encouragement of the folks here on the forum, I might add)  ♫
