HCV PCR Qualitative test positive after 12 week treatment with Ledifos.

I've just finished HCV 12 week treatment with Ledifos(Ledipasvir 90mg & Sofosbuvir 400mg) tablets.
Lab results come back:
HCV PCR Quantitative: Undetected.
HCV PCR Qualitative: Positive.

Does this mean that my treatment failed?

Diansand, he is talking about the viral load test. And if you look again, you will see the qualitative test is still detected. It counts down to a lower number of viral particles than the quantitative.

It may mean your treatment failed. However, there have been a number of cases where patients had very low levels of virus at end of treatment and a repeat test 3 months later showed no virus. I hope that happens for you. What did your doctor say?

I have a visit scheduled next week.
Wishing you the best, stajan.

It means it was successful.  You will always have a positive antibody test...

The viral load is now your guide to whether or not you have the virus.

Undetectable sounds like cured to me !

PCR is not the antibody test
