hr do you have any insight about the question brought by 92fiver and myself concerning the two drugs mentioned proganta? (not sure of the spelling on that one ) eltrombropag. ( clinicaltrials.gov #NCT00110799 )

i have the low platelet problem during my tx ( 55 weeks ) at 28 and going down i am at the threshold of stopping tx if these drugs are not there soon, or do you know of any other tx to raise platelet back up during my hcv tx.

thank you i was hoping for early release of the drug, but if i have to quit after 55 weeks /und after 12 weeks /and a geno-1a and/ 3-4 cirosis because of low platelet problems then i think have a good shot of some recovery form this disease until newer tx comes along.

This new drug  holds promise to allow agressive HCV treatments to continue in the face of platelet problems. It might take a while until it is truly available, since they are still planning more trials.
