Harvoni 4th week blood results

Yesterday I got my results.  Both AST and ALT are normal.  I have not had normal levels for over 25 years.  Regarding my viral load........UNDETECTABLE.  WhoooHoooo.  A great way to start the new year.  I have to curb my enthusiasm since I was also undetecable on Incevik at week 6 and relapsed only one month after finishing my 36 week course.  I will keep a positive outlook.

I hope everyone is doing well.  Happy New Year

This is so awesome!! I think it's perfect to savor the words no matter which week milestone! So happy for you!

I had labs on Monday, but with NYE & Day, I won't get them till Monday... Praying!

So nice!

Me too Kim.  After almost 30 years, I want them to tell me I am SVR 6 months after my last dose.  We WILL SLAY THE DRAGON.

Great news your enzymes are back to normal.  That is a great sign.  Wishing you success on your journey.  I will soon be starting my last bottle of HARVONI.......I am hopeful that this will be the end of the novel.  So grateful that this journey has been soooo much easier than the last triple therapy.  Feeling good.

Sounds like you're doing great. I started Harvoni on Dec 9. I got my five week labs back last week. Didn't get pcr, but my AST and ALT are normal too.  Mine have never been normal over the 25+ years that I have had this disease.  Not even when I was undetected with Incivek. Keep it up, best of luck for SVR.

The tension would be too great for me to wait that long for results.

Since I relapsed on S/O at 4 wks EOT, I sure would not have wanted to wait another 2 months to find out that the virus was back

And all the phlebotomists would miss me!

Good luck!

Wishing you SVR!

I'm surprised.  I thought the protocol was blood work on week 4 of treatment, end of treatment, and then 4 weeks after treatment.   Anyway, that is what my doctor is doing.

Hi Randy,
Back on the community.  Sorry to hear your 4th week BW was not undetectable.  Did you get your results from the BW you had on the 19th?  Hang in there,

I should also mention that I did get 4 wk labs back & still carrying VL of 550. At first, I went into panic. Then some very wonderful folks on here, data collector at sp pharma, said " don't worry be happy" this happens frequently & my VL did drop from 9,500,000 to 550... I'd say that's a miracle :-) having another PCR on 19th (7 wk mark) & hope to see the rest of those viral buggers gone...
Prayerful, hopeful & blessed

Interesting, I started Harvoni Dec 9th and was told  the exact samething. I guess both of our Doctors are looking out for the insurance companies.  Although it makes sense.  I will get a normal lab done next week to check other parameters, just not the viral load test.  I'm actually considering getting the pcr test a month after EOT instead of right after treatment.

Taking Harvoni as well. Started on Dec 8. I asked about blood tests and he said that since everyone goes undetected by EOT the only blood test I need is  12 weeks after Im done.
I'm curious as heck though especailly after seeing your post

I will be on Harvoni for 12 weeks.  Hopefully will maintain my undetecable status.  Have you had your blood checked?  If so, how were the results?

I started on Nov 9th.  So,  8 wks
I am over 1/2 way through.   will be done on Jan 31.
Yay  Harvoni, I'm doing great.   I am a little worried that I should be doing the Harvoni for 6 months instead of 3.  But 3 months is what I am prescribed.  How about you?
