Hep C And type 2 diabetes

Husband also has type 2 diabetes and Hvc. I have been reading having diabetes can lessen your chance of svr if on treatment. I am worring! he is on an oral medication for the type 2 the med is Janumet. His blood sugar is controlled and his doctor said hes doing good on it my question is could this problem lessen his chances for svr? any info is appreciated. Wishing you all on treatment SVR!!!

The PI He is on is Incivek thanks so much Im freaking out He is going on 2 weeks of the triple

Not sure if he's using one of the new PI's but if so theres seems to be no difference in SVR rates with diabetes. There was a few of us with type 2 that are now SVR so no need to worry there... The main thing is to keep it under control....... Hang in there and best to you both.

  It's a very good sign, that his blood sugar is controlled. My Ex had diabetes, and cleared his HCV, years ago, on SOC.
   I try not to read too many articles, he is doing everything correctly, etc.
