What are the odd?

Can anyone give me an idea of what I am looking at? 47 year old female, 20 year history of smoking, drinking, some drug use (IV and other). Hep C, viral load 13 million, liver enzymes fluctuate from just above normal to very high. Enlarged abdomen, abdomen pain that wraps around to the back, stabbing pains also. Some fluid retention.

I would say the priority diagnostics are abdominal ultrasound and endosocopy.Biopsy as mentioned also important, however if as one might suspect cirrhosis may be present you need to be checked for varices and liver cancer both of which may be life threatening.
With the syptoms and history you mention I would have hoped you were being closely monitored.
You may be in better shape than your post suggests but you need specialist medical attention rather than forum opinion at this point.

ditto to what NyGirk said,  You need to have a biospy and find out what Genotype you are. I would see a hepatologist to get the test started and then you will have a better idea what you are facing,

You need to find out what genotype HCV is present here.  Having a liver biopsy would be the only way to tell how much liver damage has already been done and if cirrhosis was present.  These are extremely big factors in the hepc world to figure out what the "odds" are of being "cured".
