Hep C untrated symptons

I have started getting blisters all over my hands for the past 3 mos no ne seems to know what is is but today I saw a DR and many blood tests orderd. 20 years ago I had a bloodtest for Hep C I then had a biopsy which did not show much damage. I just decieded I did not have it but the first thing the DR asked today was a liver question. SO I am very scared and wondering if the skin rash is related to the Hep C. Has anyone had these symptons from their untreated Hep C.

I responded under your other post but will copy and paste my response  here as well.

Hepatitis C can cause Porphyria Cutanea Tarda (PCT). Therefore, if one has Porphyria Cutanea Tarda (PCT), one should be tested for Hepatitis C.

Here are a couple of articles about Porphyria Cutanea Tarda (PCT). They explain the causes, the condition, and the treatment:

There are some people on the forum who have PCT and hopefully they will see your post and respond.
