Also college station is not to far from Austin and there you have access to Texas A&M you could possibly check there as well if travel is not a problem and welcome to the forum.
Living in Austin I would check with UT Medical center surely they would have some programs that could help also I believe they would be involved many trials going on being that they are a large teaching hospital
Check with large medical centers, I know the one I go to has a Virology clinic and people can apply for Free Care Program
Hello Ms. Kane-
While drug manufacturer’s maintain patient assistance programs to help with drug-related costs, the patient is still often responsible for office visit, procedure and lab expenses, at least here in the U.S.
You might try to contact a local university teaching hospital and ask their GI department if they have compassionate care programs available.
Additionally you might consider participating in clinical trials for HCV. You can visit the website clinicaltrials.gov or discuss it with your primary care physician. Clinical trials provide cutting edge medications and care without charge to the patient, but there are downsides to them as well.
Good luck and welcome to the discussion group,
