You should discuss this with your doctor who ordered the test but from what I just read this would be a positive test result for hep c antibodies.
This does not mean you currently are infected with hep c as about 25% of people are able to beat the virus on their own without medical treatment.
You should have a test for the virus itself called HCV RNA by PCR if this test comes back as detected with a viral load then you are infected and will need treatment.
However today the current medicines are much more effective and better tolerated by most people than what was available just a few years ago. Treatment could be as simple as 1 pill a day for 8 or 12 weeks and your odds of cure are about 98%
Try not to worry and talk to your doctor. Have the HCV RNA test and go from there.
