Hep c risk?

Hi all,
I would like to get an answer to my concern from thenexperts here, I'd appreciate it.

A week ago I had a strange thing happening to me. Anyway, I was scratched 2 scratches, one in my throat 1 cm long and the other one on my forearm near the wrist a bit smaller than the first. This was done by a prostitute that probably is a drug abuser. I got the scratches while she tried to defend herself while I tried to push her from the door ( you can read my post on HIV thread to understand the story), the defensive move lasted for one second or 2 at maximum. I'm not sure if I was scratched with her nails or with an object or a needle, but the scratches look more like nails scratches. No blood was dripping from my scratches but you could see that it was very red with a red line that I suppose it's the blood but it didn't drip. I don't know if it my skine broke or it was just superficial.
In any of the cases can I can get hepatitis? I'm so concerned.
My doctor said it is likely nail scratches and just gave me an antibiotic ointment to apply forb7 days, it seems the scratches are healing now. Please help!

Thank you

Based on your story I wouldn't worry about it. I lived with my husband and children for 30 years before I was diagnosed, None of them have HCV, it isn't that easy to catch it. You both would have to be bleeding. I am certain that your doctor would be the best person to ask. Take Care
