Hepatitis C from rubbing eyes with small ammount of blood on fingers

I am sharing an apartment with more people. After using the toilet, and accidentaly rubbing my eye, I have noticed blood on the toilet seat (one of my apartment mates was having her period), and possibly my finger.  I know there is no risk for HIV, because it dies quickly, but I am concerned about hepatitis.

I read your profile, you have posted numerous threads which make me think your true problem is either anxiety or you are OCD.

Ramble: Yes, I heard about the snorting connection years ago, it seems like it's especially bad when people use plastic straws as they tend to be sharp.

seems possible, but overall not likely.

the one newly-recognized means of transmission that has recently been id'd that caught my attn, was the sharing of straws in snorting drugs.   i think more folks should be apprised of this.
